Ferrara is known as the City of bicycles, so you can rent them at various points in the city and participate in at least one of the proposed cycling itineraries.

If you are not used, we recommend starting with a nice tour of the city walls; but if you are an athlete, you can try cycling itineraries Modena-Ferrara or Padua-Ferrara.

The most suggestive are those around the Comacchio Valleys, crossing the Forest of Mesola and go up to Pomposa, passing the Ferrara lidos.

If you want to make a tour of the province along the river Po, Destra Po is the right one for you. It is one of the longest cycling itineraries in Europe with its 100km.
